Can you explain to me again how a run is scored in this 'base-game' you're talking about, Professor Kruk?" These guys would be more entertaining, perhaps, in a [crossout]cocksucking[/crossout] hot dog eating contest.
  2. Yeah it's hard to argue with any "kill Wayne Hagin" based parody. On the other hand, I wonder if OldMole will submit in time. He no-show'd against me two years ago.
  3. I thought maybe he just tested positive for being a douche bag.
  4. Wow quality of parodies this year is top shelf.
  5. Wow, it's hard to get much farther apart than "Positive Mental Attitude" and "Punch My Asshole."

  7. Trying to remember how we did this in the past.... I will wait until Metfairy has posted her response and then post a voting preference poll on my thread, so people can comment and vote in the same thread. Is that right?
  8. I'd recommend, also, that everyone post YouTube versions of the songs they are parodying, or, minimally, a song title and artist, for comparison and to enlighten some of us who stopped listening to new music in 1997.
  9. Having said all that, that's a pretty impressive opening swing by Irish. Damn.
  10. Second time in a row I've gotten Mike Maddux.
  11. I prefer single elimination -- gets me to the loser's lounge for those world famous shrimp cocktails all the quicker.

  13. 5 years $75 million this is the same guy form the playoffs right? The terrible one, yes. Also, he talks a lot with his thumbs. Wow, he reads like the douchiest guy on Earth. Bio: following my dreams since the 80's. pitching, racing, straight edge, PMA, and an extensive list of hobbies sustain my joie de vivre. Does "PMA" stand for "Punch My Asshole"?
  14. I buy all my corn at the Farmers' Shmarket. Fresh!
  15. Dale Thayer wath the betsth running back the Bearths ever had.
  16. Wow that's a stupid amount of money. It's Appieresque.

  18. Grew hair on his face and gave about fifteen CPF men erections due to his prototypical manliness. Not me, of course. I dig the broads.
  19. Frankie Franks will be the shit. Have a press conference, make him throw a jersey over a suit from Mens Warehouse. I dare you.
  20. I heard the Indian chick from that ad is getting 3 years, 29 million from Toronto. Mets didn't bid.
  21. Must be nice to root for a big market team.
  22. Regarding marathon, above: I guess so. I certainly thought the Mets were wrong in not making a higher offer than they did to Edgardo Alfonzo. I hoped he succeeded. But when he didn't, even though I felt modestly badly for him, I found it wasn't that hard to tip my hat to Steve Phillips. I can even now personally entertain scenarios where he wouldn't have floundered had he not left the Mets. I can attribute all his downward career trajectory to heartbreak and homesickness for the Mets and New York. It might even be true. But it's certainly far-fetched enough that I'm not going to hang my hat on it. So again, I tipped my hat to Steve Phillips. Even as I stick to my guns that you go higher to retain home-grown stars and honor the connection that the fanbase has with them. Steve F. Phillips. I know, right? I tip my hat to him because he bags fat chicks. Good on him!
  23. I like him. His name is Dickey.
