  1. I'm never not on the verge of release, personally speaking.
  2. Telecommuting today, my last chance to watch a weekday 1 PM Mets game and draw a paycheck at the same time in 2012. My ongoing cable issues are now officially a thing of the past, since Time Warner is now offering the NFL Channel and NFL Red Zone networks, I will dump FIOS in the spring if they can't work something out to get my 2013 weekend WPIX Mets games piped in (which I am assuming won't happen, since I've been lobbying for that without success since 2010).
  3. It figures, that the Cubs management is too dumb to recognize a PR moment when one comes begging at their doorstep.
  4. Congrats Sugarpants!

  6. NICE KABOOMAGE BY IKEY
  7. Well, shit. You'd think the Mets suck or something.
  8. I watched the whole thing. And I laughed when ol' Nostril Face went yard, at the absurdity of it and also the total "saw it coming"-a-tude of it. At this point in the season, it's hard for me to get that worked up about one more loss.

  10. The WBC can die in a fire, were it personified or objectified properly for that to occur.
  11. Is Josh Thole allowed to drive in runs? I thought that the CBA prevented this kind of malfeasance.
  12. Did Thole just get hit in the clam?

You not only missed a hitter with a RiSP, but also an out that knocked in a run, and a HR with a real live runner on base. You could have watched all week and not seen any of those prior to tonight. I did watch them all week and I hadn't seen any of that shit! Watching the Mets this past week on TV has been like watching old people fuck.

  15. Willie Mays Refers to Derek Jeter as "Captain Douche" Former Met (and Giant) legend contends Yankee shortstop is an 'overrated hack with womanly hips and a sissy swing' By Adam Rubin ESPN News .... On a night where Derek Jeter tied Willie Mays for tenth all time on the hit list with 3,283 hits, and shameless YES and radio announcers sang his praises to a mostly tone deaf audience, the man he tied on that list was asked at a memorabilia show what he thought of the Bronx Bummer's accomplishment. "Look, all I'm saying is I got that many hits too. Plus, you know, way more of mine were home runs and doubles and triples than him," said Mays. "I understand, in the Bronx, Captain Douche is a big shot and all, but he didn't have to freeze his ass off at the 'Stick like I did." Jeter, seen by this reporter drinking a vinegar and water at a local juice bar, had no comment.
  16. I'm disappointed that he's not wearing his helmet.
  17. Carlos Gomez has 16 HRs? Livan Hernandez is still in baseball? DOGS AND CATS LIVING TOGETHER MASS HYSTERIA!
  18. Enough fucking popups and fucking GIDPs and fucking LOBs. I'm ready to launch these fuckers into outer space like the Robinson family.
  19. I've enjoyed seeing the AAA Mets here in Syracuse the last few years, as a divisional rival to the Chiefs. That being said, I never picked a Chiefs game to attend based on the opponent, except that I avoid going when the baby MFYs are in town because it draws out the goons. Que sera sera.

  21. Markakis out for the rest of 2012 due to a broken thumb. Weak.
