  1. All tied up, 2-2 in the fourth. I prefer the O's to their opponent.
  2. Wow, Cueto coming out with an injury after retiring just one batter (erstwhile Met Angel Pagan). At one point Pagan called time and Cueto stopped his pitch, mid-delivery. Ron Darling and two white guys I never heard of currently on TBS deliberating on the possibility that this caused some injury.

  6. My magic moment at Citi Field is pictured in my avatar -- running into Greg Cashen's son in the Mets HOF museum and getting Fboy a chance for him to wear a real World Series ring. Also, sitting on the concourse outside of left field, eating lunch, and catching up with themetfairy, which has become an annual tradition for Fboy and I now (four years running, if I'm counting right).

  8. Agreed -- I predict lots of first pitch swinging today.
  9. Well, that's that.
  10. Nice little rally! Double by Ike, infield single by Hairy, moves PR Davis to 3rd, two outs.
  11. And Ibanez ties it up with another joke home run to the same part of the stadium. Stupid crappy Red Sox. I'm switching to the Mets.
  12. Yeah, baby, insurance run for Boston courtesy of a joke home run to right by James Loney.
  13. Do you all think Guillen gets another crack at the Miami miasma?
  14. Edgy DC wrote: We've got a problem? Get over yourself, Homer McPoster. Yeah, that's a little overbroad. That's why I described the criteria as "binary." I would suggest a 10-point scale, where "we," "us," and "our" get a 2 and an enthusastic "Let's go, Mets." gets an 8. Ten, of course, would be, "Rawja Clemens is in Jawj's box and Rawja is coming back! Oh my goodness gracious of all the dramatic things!!" It's a scale of one to ten, for how moist Suzie Waldman's granny panties are about your team. The slushier the better.
  15. Fboy and I saw those at the park this year, he enjoyed them.
  16. bmfc1 wrote: The MFYs lose to Toronto 3-2 so with a win tonight, the Orioles move into a tie for 1st place. BOS: Doubront (11-9, 4.91) BAL: Johnson (4-0, 1.62) Defensive replacement Endy Chavez taking a hit away from some BoSox scrub in the top of the 9th with a diving catch, O's win 4-3 and tie up the MFYs.
  17. Yeah, Bobby, put that shit to bed.
  18. Oh, Larry, you went 0-4 with four groundouts on your special day? You old hack. Go hump a soda bottle.
  19. Filthy curve there to get Say-Heyward. Larry gets another furtive round of applause.
  20. And it's official.
  21. MLB channel carrying it live. Idiots in Pittsburgh blowing vuvuzula horns.
  22. YEAH RUIN THE FUCKIN CHIPPER LOVE FEST DUDA! KABLAMMO!
  23. Congrats to R.A.!
