Jansen: 0.91 ERA; 0.57 WHiP; Batters Faced = 107 - Ks = 50; Earned Runs allowed = 3 Maybe more amazing, is, 50 K's. And zero walks.
  2. Lol, Kershaw is 91-0 in his career when given four runs of support. So, you know, there you go and such. Uh, so, how are you guys doing? Hot enough these days?
  3. Wow. It's like they WANT me to go to bed early.
  4. Yeah, way to make then wait 11 pitches before they score. F'n hell.
  5. I'd like to see Wheeler keep his pitch count down.

  7. I napped through innings 1-5 and Chromecasted the PIX feed for the last few. Nice to see deGrom help them off the shnide.
  8. Gwreck wrote: The Luis Castillo game usually comes to mind when this question is asked. I'd have to think this would have been a monumentally bad game to attend, the way it ended and all, with (I assume) plenty of YLDBs in attendance. It was rough enough to watch it on TV as it happened.
  9. I'm petering out at 10:10 PM, as a rule. Five straight nights of late games. I doubt I see much of any of these past the first 3 innings or so.
  10. Edgy MD wrote: Gotta be one of the top ten all time rock singers, right? It's like what Bruce Springsteen would sound like if he could sing. Great look, too, the fro, the big sunglasses, thumping that bass. Fuckin rock star, all the way.
  11. Broken thumb, for fuck's sake. How is this even really a thing?
  12. Lol, as I typed it, my free stream switched over to a West Coast game. Found it anew, though I'm getting the Cubs network now. Better than nothing.
  13. What's good, is, I've finally figured out how to comfortably watch WPIX games without getting fucked out of them. Using the Chromecast my wife got me for Xmas, two years ago, and this time casting from my (wired) desktop PC, using a free stream posted to Reddit, and also as to minimize the amount of traffic using wireless, and casting to the TV in the room my wife usually watches in and asking her to retire to the basement where I usually sit, and BAM. TV baseball.
  14. Yeah this trended real nice in the 9th (well at least till that DP). But WHY use Reed here with a 5 run lead? YUCK.

  16. Here you go. http://www.ultimatemets.com/gamedetail.php?gameno=7267 When you only can make it to 1-2 games per year, it's a bigger downer when you go and they get knocked around. Worse yet, when the scheduled pitcher had sucked for several starts in a row, and you know he's scheduled to start that day. Pelfrey had lost on April 20, April 25, May 1, and May 6. So we were driving all the way down there knowing he was most likely to get shelled. And looking at it, he actually didn't pitch as awfully as I remember (the bullpen gave up a lot of the runs that day too), but it was more about the fact that he did exactly what we expected. He got sent to AAA a few days after that, not to return in 2007. This was my 6th wedding anniversary, that day, and the tickets were a gift from my folks. At least the weather was nice.

Ironic too because in the same page where Pelfrey is mentioned, where he was personally responsible for my least favorite trip ever to Shea.
  18. Bruce made a nice catch to rob some dickhead of a homer. GKR are digging through old baseball cards and reminiscing. I'm 100% fine with this. These guys are the best.
  19. Addison Russell's eyes are too far apart. He looks like something Mulder and Scully were trying to catch.
  20. He's crying because as soon as the Mets picked him one of his tendons snapped.
  21. Cespedes day to day apparently with a sore heel. Which is not a hamstring issue or a quad issue.
  22. Awesome stuff. I will get a good night's sleep tonight, love the 2 1/2 hour game time.
  23. I'm hoping deGrom figures out how to not suck dePenis in this start.
  24. We were listening on XM while driving home, but, I mean, he went super yard on a ball the day before with the bases loaded in the 9th. I didn't have a problem with him coming in against a lefty to try the same thing a second day in a row.
