  2. My SHaMs prediction looking remarkably accurate right now.
  3. Oh yeah, also, Fwife and I featured on the "Kiss Cam" between innings.
  4. Four and a half hour drive down, family in tow. Sat with Metfairy, who is doing well but has said that she's more or less done with the CPF, sad to say. Nice win, and maybe most importantly, a nice window of dry weather, as we faced many storms headed in both directions. Five and a half hour drive home. Long ass time to be behind the wheel. Fwife's first visit to the Citi. She loved it. Great day.

Man, I wish I could join you for the drive down and up, but I don't think I could make it happen. If I had a vehicle suitable for 5 passengers you'd be welcome to accompany us.
  7. I went with Ms. Rooks but, honestly, any of these gals would be a delightful placement for my whole-y inappropriate pole.
  8. I'm gonna need four islands and a kayak of some kind.

As I told these guys, I will not be able to make this game on Wednesday. If anyone can use my ticket (on me, since it's short notice) PM your email address and I'll forward the print-at-home .pdf of the ticket. First come, first served... No takers on a free ticket for tomorrow, plus bonus company from MF and the Fman clan? Meet the Fgang in real life!
  10. This would be a good time for Reyes to show up.
  11. Gave me so much agita as a fan -- seemed like half the time he was trying to aim a 99 MPH fastball when he could have shaved a few ticks off and been totally dominant. The Familia we saw the last three weeks was the one I enjoyed. When he is on there are few nastier. Good luck to ye.
  12. Mostly bummed that I am going to the game Wednesday and won't get to see him pitch.
  13. Everyone's workplace is dysfunctional. That's not really an outlier. This guy probably should have tried to fix it from within the context of the system, as opposed to "honest talking" his way right out of the league. You can tweet, but, ya know, maybe use an alias or something.
  14. I'm a big fan of the slot, myself.
  15. So his comeback lasted one game? What a fuck fest.
  16. seawolf17 wrote: Not for nothing, but it's a nice touch using the half-empty stadium background shot. That said, I'm looking forward to two things right now. Sweeping these fuckers in their mausoleum this weekend, and fman's series preview post. Naw, I need a new angle. I'm kind of weary of the Suzyn & John show. I feel like I've beaten that to a slow, wheezing, ejaculating death.
  17. 51 wins. Epic comeback. Best Mets ever. MVP is a 27 way tie.
  18. I'd rather watch a Suzyn Waldman pap smear than the home run derby.
  19. Glad to have missed 100% of this game, napping and then swimming with Fboy and Fgirl at the local park pool.
  20. That's a happy ending right there!
  21. My son noticed my waning enthusiasm for Mets games in the last few weeks. I chose to sit outside on my front patio playing my guitar, rather than watch the first hour of the game, and was nonplussed to find they were already down 5-0 when I tuned in.
