    OMG. He took in a game with some fans. Nothing ugly happened, and a seemingly good time was had by all. This is a good thing. This team has been tone deaf for too long, and anytime upper management reaches out to the fans is a good thing. Yep there it is. I'm not in "the Army" but I'm all about engaged fans and management who wants to be a part of the fan experience. There's nothing negative here except people's personal spin on the current/historical fortunes of the team, IMHO.

    This was an enjoyable game and I watched nearly all of it. Was happy to see Diaz looking a bit more like his expected self, for the 2nd game in a row no less.

    News reports said suicide was not suspected and foul play was not suspected, which means it was most likely either some sort of undiagnosed health issue like a heart condition or something, or (more likely) a drug overdose.

Instead of the story being Piss Missile Pete's demolishing of Straw's team record, this turns into who's calling who a motherfucker. I'm all done with Mickey. He went out to the mound. He was so close to giving him the hook. And didn't. And it blew up in his dumb overwhelmed face.

    How was the Chernobyl documentary? "Chernobyl" is amazing and worth seeing despite the horror and bleakness. Like the Mets, there are arrogant people in charge who think that they know better than everybody else when they really are ignorant and have no business having such responsibility. At least with the Mets, no one gets killed. Agreed, finished it last night, tremendous.
