What is the context of crying Mr. Met? I don't remember what made them buffoons that week. This is a lackluster bunch. I only really like Bartolo swinging the bat (I voted for that one and the old school Mr. Met and that's it) -
I enjoy the idea of those fans paying so much money to watch their team not get any hits in a WS game. Maybe some of those same folks were at the game earlier this year where we did the same thing to them. Amazingly, the same starter and closer also were part of a combined no hitter against the MFYs this summer.

Mets shut out of the GG but former Met Andres Gimenez won at 2B for the Guardians. Not surprising, the kid could always stick it out in the field.

I most hope to see Diaz and Ottavino in Mets colors for 2023. Williams and Drew Smith seem like good choices to bring back too. I also think Lugo is on borrowed time but wouldn't be abject to his return.

In the newly created "Utility" category you will not find Luis Guillorme or Jeff McNeil but you will find Tommy Edman who is nominated at 2B and Daulton Varsho who is nominated at RF. Seems to me that any playoff system will have an inferior (85-win) team beating its superiors a decent chunk of the time, and superior (100+) win teams will get clobbered in the first round once in a while. That's why they play the games, etc. Further, some years this will occur grossly, with multiple superior teams getting beaten by inferior teams. If you don't want this to happen, stop watching the playoffs. That danger is inherent to the concept of playoffs. And actually I have stopped watching. Once the Mets are out of it, my interest in MLB goes down to the levels of interest in watching paint dry. Maybe that's why I reacted so strongly and so bitterly to the Mets getting clobbered. I wanted a few more weeks of baseball, and I felt entitled to it.

Yeah I am an Astros fan only based on them being less detestable than the Astros or Yankees (and their fans and the shitbags who wear MFY hats and don't even like baseball just because they're the MFYs and the douchenozzles who wear MFY jerseys with last names on the back like that's even a fucking thing oh no I think I just triggered myself)
