  3. Good. Stash him someplace where he can't play AGAINST us.
  4. Glad this isn't OUR Angel Pagan... Man Accused Of Ramming Girlfriend With Car Woman Hurt In Sacramento Attack SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- A man accused of injuring his girlfriend by ramming his car into hers more than 20 times was captured Monday after fleeing, Sacramento police said. Authorities said the woman was taken to a hospital for treatment after a rolling dispute that took place early in the morning on city streets. Angel Efraim Pagan, 20, was taken to jail on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and vandalism, jail records show. Authorities said Pagan drove his car into the woman's vehicle along Stockton Boulevard. He is then accused of driving his car into hers again near the intersection of 16th and P streets. Several parked cars and the patio area of a yogurt shop were damaged. The man escaped before police arrived, but was later tracked down, police said. The woman is expected to recover. Pagan's bail was set at $100,000. He is set to appear in court on Wednesday. Anyone with information on the case should contact Detective Hunkapiller with the Sacramento Police Department at 916-277-3833.
  5. Yeah, but who was winning the card game he and Bonilla were playing while Robin Ventura hit his Grand Slam Single?

  7. We've got a pair of the blue seats. I mounted them on on wooden 'feet' so they wouldn't tip over, and we have them perfectly positioned to watch baseball all summer. Lots more legroom now than there was at Shea. When we got them, we noticed that they were seats 15 and 16. #16 was indicated normally, with a riveted metal number tag. But #15 was a silver sticker over where the number had obviously fallen off. Well, for $869, I raised a little hell, and a few days later we got a genuine #15 that I riveted into place.
  8. Thank you for your continued support and I look forward to seeing you at the ballpark. Sincerely, Sandy Alderson Great! I'll meet you at the Beer Kiosk! You're buying.
  9. Sandy in 'Catch Lightning in a Bottle' mode. Can't hurt, I guess.
  10. Somehow, you just know Ambiorix Burgos is involved.
  11. Yes, I'm watching SNY Mets Classics, the 151st running of the Dave Mlicki classic. And in between, they're running holiday greetings from various Mets. David Wright, Ike Davis, Carlos Beltran. But my favorite was Jason Bay. "Hi, I'm Jason Bay and I'd like to wish you a.......um..............."
  12. Prince was amazing. First to find a jacket that ugly- even in black and white it screams at you. And the interviews! "Hal, how did it feel to hit that crucial 3-run homer?" "It felt great, Bob." "Fantastic. Now here's Dick Groat...."
  13. Wow, Casey manages his bullpen worse than Jerry Manuel.

  15. Mrs. Lee better not make any further trips to Yankee Stadium, because they'll do unspeakable things.
  16. Man, wake me up in five years.

  21. And I say it's about time we finally had a hitting coach who looks good in a bikini.
  22. Well, I had some, and on a scale of 1-10 I'd say it's about a 3. Won't make you vomit unless you consume medically unwise quantities of it, at least. It's not as taste-free as Coors Light, but it's not the kind of beer where you say, "Man that was good, think I'll have another." Over/under on the re-re-re-disappearance of Rheingold- 9 months. But Casey liked it, even though he knows better than to play pepper. Someone could get hoit.
  23. Resnob Foob. Sounds just as silly backwards. I guess this is the dark side of Moneyball or something.
  24. Ah, Luke, Luke, Luke. Ya can't cure stupid. Not that you'd even try.
  25. Love his hot club mixes.
