    Schwarber's a terrible defensive catcher, and we know from the NLCS that he's a terrible defensive outfielder. But boy, can he hit. Bit of a dilemma for Maddon. Bet he wishes he still had the DH.

    Dexter Fowler goes BACK to the Cubs, leaving the Orioles flummoxed. Mets may have the best pitching in the league, but the Cubbies are going to have the best offense. This means Heyward can play right instead of center. Not sure what they do with Soler and Schwarber now. That's a crowded outfield.

    Niese was always a whiner. I'm not sorry to see him gone. Let's see how the Pirates like it when one of their infielders boots a ball and Jon stomps around the mound and lets it snowball into a four-run inning.

    The biggest wonder that I take away from this is, wow, Ty Wigginton had 1,170 major league hits.

    Personally I found it sadistic and bloody, but also hilarious. Plot made little or no sense, but that was pretty much irrelevant. Always wondered how you could have a massive battle in a major city on something larger than an aircraft carrier without a single cop or ambulance showing up, but hey, it's the movies. Ryan Reynolds makes up for the Green Lantern with this one. The one-liners and jokiness sure made it sound like he was having the time of his life. And the Ferris Bueller moment is priceless.

    The 'Unattached' pictures are hilarious. Boy, there's a lot of blonde hair in our starting rotation. And soon Paula Colon will be elbowed to the bullpen by another blonde.

    Like he's the first ballplayer to own a flashy car. Backup shortstops can afford Maseratis these days.

    Saying what he has to say, so it's not a distraction. Sandy said what he had to as well. Everybody knows Boras will take him to free agency after 2018. That includes the Mets front office.

    I'll remember how pissed I was the first two times. Now it's just waiting for the crash-and-burn story. His agent is negligent here, too.
