    Mets face a lefty hitting in the ninth spot with the bases loaded, but they don't really have a good lefty option in the pen because they pitched them all yesterday. It's all moot, as Rushing lines into a double play as I type, but I HAD A POINT TO MAKE!

Jose Iglesias, joining the Broadway cast of Buena Vista Social Club as the narrator. This has been, like, the most culturally relevant inning the Mets have had all season.
