Hey! Three-man booth at the stadium and in the studio!

It was a dang sloppy series for both teams. I kind of thought that that jive-ass defense by the Yankees at the end (a) wasn't legal anymore, and (b) kind of was beneath them. You're the Yankees, man. Leave the gimmicks to the Pirates and Royals.

Ewing: 1-for-1, three walks, and a sacrifice. PotG is likely Taylor for the biggest swing of the season, but stealth points have to go Ewing.

I always get a boost after Bichette's spot in the order is cleared.

If the Mets can bop their way back into this (and they still have nine outs), the Yankees have burned their bench.

Semien has been far better offensively in May. That far better has been sort of league average (probably a .700 or so May OPS after two hits today). But i imagine he's going to be continually run out there at least until guys start coming back. Bichette should be hitting in the back part of the lineup. -

Ewing should have walked several pitches earlier, but he took a 3-1 pitch that clearly was a ball, and when the ump blew the call, he didn't challenge it, and forced the pitcher to throw three more pitches before walking him anyhow. He's terrific. Let's hit for Senger here.
