Announcers are saying Kershaw looks great, but his breaking stuff looks lazy to me.

Fare thee well, sweet Dominican-with-a-Curaçaoan-sounding name. Gave 54 solid innings to the glory-bound 2015 Mets. Pitched three perfect innings in the post-season, too.

There were no names on backs in those days.

It's hard to hit into a double-play by taking a pitch. Also, pulling Swarzak after seven pitches? What?

Ah, fuck. Gave 'em too many chances.

¡Viva Cabrera! FUCK THE SHIFT!!

Glad to see you miss that play, Hernandez. That's what you get for wearing Gil Hodges' number.

I appreciate that Bautista is twice as fit as the Dodger secondbaseman who is 10 years younger. I also appreciate Swarzak nailing down a seven-pitch inning. Now lez get some runs.

I don't know Kacz fits right in, being lefty and all, but it sure will be nice to not run out of bench players every night. Smith got touched for runs each of his last two outings with Vegas. Sadly, the Mets (and most teams) no longer provide distinguishing initials or other information when two players share one surname. We had two Bautistas at once last month and nobody gave a shit. I thought it was disgraceful.

He's had some tools lost also. I kind of think that Colorady or somebuds could use some of the Mets extra pitching.

Tonight they'll play some ball again. One of these teams will play the game and the other will pretend. Ichiro pulled a Valentine, sneaking into the dougout in-game disguised as a trainer or something.

I feel like we've been watching those few days. Perhaps for a couple of weeks.

Yeah, the elbow thing. I hate to be the cynic, but he looked kind of messed up on that play.

Sure, but you need hitters when you're changing pitchers too. Else you end up trying to come back in an 10-8 game by getting two guys on and sending a relief pitcher to the plate.
