    Based on the crowd's reaction, it could be a long summer for Joely Rodriguez. The SNY Director thinks that we'd rather watch fans cheering than some of the players who are being introduced.

    We were feeling so good and now this. Last season, WSH couldn't keep it in their pants and 3 games were postponed but the Mets will have to play short-handed today (are they still keeping a taxi squad? I saw that Nick Plummer was in SYR last night). I wish that Steve gave each player $50,000 "to their favorite charity" to take the shot. Maybe that would have gotten Lugo (?) in line.

    Buck won't sit back as Luis did, but he might defer to Max given his experience and Max will handle it despite the fact that it's his old team. Perhaps an up-and-in to Nelson Cruz.

    Same in Silver Spring. I don't understand why they didn't "bang" this game yesterday. The Mets will be in DC two more times and each team has an off day on May 9.
