It starts at 6:40 PM (ET) so plan accordingly. Taijuan beat the Marlins on Saturday, and Alcantra beat the Mets on Sunday. https://www.mlb.com/gameday/mets-vs-marlins/2022/06/24/661382#game_state=preview,game_tab=,game=661382https://www.mlb.com/gameday/mets-vs-marlins/2022/06/24/661382#game_state=preview,game_tab=,game=661382 The Mets have lost 2 straight and 3 out of 4 plus we lived with the Astros series through an off-day so enough of this crap.

Keith needs to stop praising shitty umpires.

That's the 2d time that Gary mentioned J*ter in the last week which is two more times than he should. Please Gary, STFU about J*ter.

Pix of Tr*mp in any context should not be allowed.

A pitcher has to go as the maximum number is 13 as of today. Medina or Lopez? https://twitter.com/martinonyc/status/1538871365717172225

Trevor Megill, Tylor's brother, was also placed on the IL this week (MIN).

It's the 8th inning and SNY is treating the game like it's Spring Training. Pathetic. --------- Gary: "the replay coordinator missed it." OR, perhaps the umpire could have done his job and gotten the call right as he is paid to do.

He looked tired but then he got to face 8-9 in the order and Buck kept JD and Canha on the bench.

Please come back Trevor May. Please take out Lugo.
  13. bmfc1
Too bad Mrs. Lugo didn't go into labor before the game started.

MLB decreed that all east coast games cannot start earlier than 1:30 to give Peacock more of an exclusive window for their "Sunday Leadoff" game (which the Mets are part of next Sunday.

Edgy will make this into a nice graphic so this is just a placeholder: CF Brandon Nimmo RF Starling Marte SS Francisco Lindor 1B Pete Alonso 2B Jeff McNeil LF Mark Canha 3B Luis Guillorme DH J.D. Davis C Tomas Nido RHP Carlos Carrasco

I took screencaps from the mlb.tv archive of the game and I overstated the timing of Buck's departure but not by much. https://postimg.cc/wtSm992y https://postimg.cc/CBkf19rv https://postimg.cc/FYCSnyJx

Buck: "do you want Yellich"? Diaz: "sit down Buck! SIT DOWN Yellich!" That was great. The IFers didn't even get to the mound by the time Buck left.

It's the only sport that allows a manager/coach to stop the game, walk to the middle of the field, and hold a meeting. I agree. If the manager leaves the bench the pitcher is gone.

David Peterson and the Mets face Corbin Burnes (RHP), a very good pitcher. I'm not sure why Peterson is starting and Williams is back in the BP but I trust Buck and his coaching staff. Game time is 7:10 (STILL EASTERN!!!) and it's also on FS1 (not exclusively) https://www.mlb.com/gameday/brewers-vs-mets/2022/06/15/662480#game_state=preview,lock_state=preview,game_tab=,game=662480https://www.mlb.com/gameday/brewers-vs-mets/2022/06/15/662480#game_state=preview,lock_state=preview,game_tab=,game=662480

While everyone is falling all over themselves to praise the Braves, let's look at who they've played since Memorial Day: AZ, 3; COL, 4; OAK, 2; PIT, 4. They are now playing WSH, 3 and CHC, 3. This is while the Mets were seeing the world. The ATL schedule gets harder next week. ATL can bite me.

If you want to look ahead for games where we will miss GKR, go here: https://www.mlb.com/live-stream-games/national-broadcast-schedulehttps://www.mlb.com/live-stream-games/national-broadcast-schedule The better the Mets do, the more they will be moved to a national broadcast.

Chris Bassitt tries to get back on track as the Mets finally return home to face the Milwaukee Brewers (34-28) at 7:10 EASTERN TIME. https://www.mlb.com/gameday/brewers-vs-mets/2022/06/14/662441#game_state=preview,lock_state=preview,game_tab=,game=662441https://www.mlb.com/gameday/brewers-vs-mets/2022/06/14/662441#game_state=preview,lock_state=preview,game_tab=,game=662441
