    Those pinheads are likely still upset about Jacob Rahme throwing in the vicinity of Ryhs Hoskins' empty head so you're right. McNeil got hit in the 9th but that happens with regularity. Alonso should practice ducking.

    Brooklyn wins the series 2-1 to advance to the finals as they win Game 3 (of 3) 4-3. Ranfy Adon with the walk-off double. Lowrie went 0 for 4.

    Jed Lowrie goes deep for the Cyclones (I wonder if Hudson Valley is annoyed that a real major leaguer played against them in a playoff game) and that's the only run in the game. Cyclones 1, HV 0, a one-hitter!, tying the series at 1. 2019 3d round draft pick Matthew Allan pitched 2 perfect innings. Winner-take-all game 3 tomorrow in Brooklyn.     The Phillies, coming to Citi Field tomorrow, lost today and used 11 pitchers (if that matters in September). The really bad thing is that Vargas pitched today so the Mets won't face him.

    Mickey said before today's game that if it was 8-4 he would have left in Lugo but Alonso homered and it was 10-4, so scoring more runs (likely) cost them the game.
