    Inept at in-game managing despite the presence of Riggleman and the other 10 coaches. Everyone screws up but he was no better last month than when he started. OTOH, he was friendly enough to walk down the RF line at Roger Dean Stadium last March for autographs.

    Lots of talk about Acuna's base "running" in the 7th, which cost them a run (they lost by one) and his "styling" in the 9th after his HR (a solo HR which brought his team within 2). I'm sure that Cardinals fans are saying that this would never happen with their team.

    Great job by Strasburg. I'll say it: great job by Rizzo getting Hudson. Unlike a certain GM, he tried to help his bullpen at the trade deadline. But fuck Hader. Fuck Grisham (I don't feel bad for him for making a big mistake). Fuck the Brewers who were swinging for the fences all night. Dammit, I have to root for the Dodgers now.

    Our team isn't playing but on Tuesday night, I am all about the Brewers. The game is in the glorified AA-stadium called "Nationals Park" before the disinterested, front-running, baseball-stupid, Nationals fans who only hope that the wi-fi is working and the game is over before the Metro closes at midnight. 7 of the 11 writers in The Athletic pick Washington to win this game. It's Max Scherzer for Washington and Brandon Woodruff for the Brewers (he beat the Mets twice in '19, April 27 and May 3). Go Brewers!!!
