  1. A profoundly remarkable movie about the Uruguayan plane crash in the Andes mountains , I thought this was very well done Spanish language with subtitles
  2. Saw this last year , fascinating to find out about the synthetic diamond industry, and how hard it is to distinguish , granted I knew nothing about this industry, so I found this a really good watch
  3. Looking forward to watching this, Giamatti was interviewed yesterday on NPR Fresh Air and he and the host talked about how this character and his character from Sideways are similar, same director too, always a good interview too.
  4. Please watch this mind bending movie, this required a second watch, great idea , execution might be the issue Paul Mescal Saoirse Ronan Aaron Pierre
  5. Indeed the Def Leppard concert never happened , , Rory Kinnear is great iin most anything. I certainly wouldn't watch it again
  6. Just finished it, hard not to like the story and plenty of actors in it that regularly are in movies from the UK , and Bank of Dave is still going strong Obviously filmed when Sean Dyche was still Burnley manager, now manages Everton
  7. It's on my list now , will watch over the weekend, looks good
  8. Yeah man , I agree , I kind of wish they delved more into the science behind it all too .
  9. Poll up , I went four out of five
  10. You know what , you are correct and Regel New Roc is confusing as they list this movie in IMAX 70mm , but it's not ,I believe I saw it in IMAX 2D or straight 70mm film on a IMAX screen ...either way it was worth it.
  11. We just left IMAX , wow , an amazing achievement, brilliantly acted, amazing score ,the tension built and built , three hours flew by. If you are going to see it then try for IMAX 70mm
  12. Pretty much what is going to happen. (Reprised from the Arby's Opera thread) I do like this , absolutely love Pete , another big season and I think the Mets will have to lock him up. Was it Howard's ankle that bothered him??
  13. A dark and at times sad drama set on the island of Inisherin. Bombs and explosions can be see and heard coming from the mainland as the Irish civil war rages on , but all that consumes the locals on this small island is why Colm stopped talking to Padraig. Superb performances all around, much like the civil war men that were once friends are now fighting, no coincidence that this movie it set in 1923
