  1. I skipped out of watching the Mets game in the 6th to catch Econo as well.
  2. Alou stranded after a lead off double. Even with a 3 run lead, I hate when that happens.
  3. This mid-inning Pac-Man graphic on MLB.TV is horrible. Where's Tom Petty?
  4. ="Edgy DC"]Deserves a chance to at being the starter for 07. Ugh...Castro is a lifetime .227 hitter who has more strikeouts than hits in his 9 year career. He has had a great 17 at-bats this season...but let's give him the chance to show that he can stay healthy and play consistently better than a below average ML catcher before we anoint him our "1A" ...or worse give him the job over the All-Star already playing the position. Ramon is a great back up and I'll agree that LoDuca needs more time off behind the plate this year than he got last year...but in my mind he certainly does not deserve a shot at a starting job this year and based on what he's shown me in the past, I'd be terribly worried if he were the starting catcher next year.
  5. Perez 3 Beltran 3 Reyes 1 Castro 1 Easley 1 Smith 1
  6. Mets win 7-2...TCB plays at the end. Mets have the same record that they started out with last year through 16 games: 11-5.
  7. C'mon David...it's your turn!
  8. The Omen gets his first Mets hit...a solo KABOOM! 5-1 Mets.
  9. Ramon is good...16AB 3HR. 4-0 Mets.
  10. Wright K's to end the fourth, stranding Reyes in scoring position.
  11. Wright K's to end the second, stranding Reyes in scoring position. I was against this whole #2 thing for Wright, but especially when he's been scuffling at the plate. Perez is dealing!
  12. May 3rd-6th @ Arizona...given their track record in ARZ the last two years, this is not impossible.
  13. OHernandez 4 Beltran 2 Castro 1 Alou 1 Green 1 Delgado 1
  14. Ding, ding! Correct.
  15. Anthony Young... Some people call me the space cowboy, some call me the ganster of love. I tied for the Mets lead in hit-by-pitch in 2002.
  16. You're Anna Benson!
  17. Maine 5 Beltran 2 Reyes 1 Wright 1 Valentin 1
  18. Cubbies tie the Braves at 5 in the 7th as the Mets game ends...and then take the one run lead. On edit: The Cubs still suck and I hate the Braves. ATL wins vs. CHI bullpen.
  19. Good stuff from Maine tonight. It was great to see one of our starting pitchers lead off the seventh inning...hopefully that trend will continue for him.
  20. I don't know about Reyes going home on that wild pitch. Do we really need Reyes to be sliding into Willis at the plate with a seven run lead? Thank god he didn't hurt himself.
  21. Will be made up on June 29th as a day-night double header. As if that stretch of schedule between June 5th and the All Star Break wasn't tough enough.
  22. I believe Milledge is still active for tonight's game. If it gets rained out, then I imagine Pelfrey won't join the team until the next time through the rotation.
  23. Yup, I agree with CF...I was expecting an inning ending DP from Julio.
  24. I don't mind being up if it's behind the plate. The best seats still available for tonight's game are seats comparable to Shea's inner loge section...which are good seats in either park. Those tickets are normally $36 for Brewers' games. If I were to go tonight with my wife and kid it would be $38 for all of us to get in the gates after parking. If I wanted those same seats for a Brewers game it would be $116. I imagine the $78 savings for pretty good views of MLB action is why the attendence has been decent for these games...although the attendence did dip to 16,000+ on Wednesday.

Nymr83 wrote: transmonk, i'd guess you could get in to Miller Park for ~$10 every night. You can get in the gates, top deck tickets are $13 apiece, outfield bleachers for $16, outfield box are $24 and infield box are $32 and up. Myself, I like box seats...and for the Indians games, all tickets are $10 on a first come first serve basis.
