  1. Beltran 2 Milledge 2 Wright 1 Castillo 1 Alou 1 Conine 1 Pelfrey 1 Sosa 1
  2. According to baseball-reference, Aaron Sele has had 4 at bats this year...Joe Smith has had 1.
  3. Sosa batting himself...I love it.
  4. Sacfly Duca, 3 run homer for Lastings. This game went from bad to worse to impossible for Houston pretty quickly.
  5. Good catch by Milledge. When did Gomez get back to the big team? Is he active? Just saw him sitting on the bench next to Perez.
  6. Conine RBI basehit. Good job, new guy...even after I dissed you.
  7. Nice catch, Pence...robs David of a double. Beltran goes deep...4-2 good guys.
  8. Gary and Keith are going back and forth with names of beers and where they're from. Classic.
  9. Conine now 3 for 18 as a Met. Rally Killer.

  11. Cardinals not being included in the wildcard flipping and the Braves being left out completely seems weird.
  12. http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20070907&content_id=2194382&vkey=news_mlb&fext=.jsp&c_id=mlb In the event of a tie with the Phillies for the NL East, the tiebreaker will be in Philadelphia.

  14. Boston beat Baltimore last night knocking them out of contention for the division. The AL East is now literally a 3 team race...even though the O's and the Rays have been realistically out of it for months. A White Sox loss to Minnesota at home and/or a Cleveland win at Anaheim tonight will eliminate Chicago from the AL Central.
  15. Their KTEs are way dirtier than ours.
  16. I love Keith. He's honest and there's nothing wrong with that. Especially when it's dry, sarcastic honesty. I watch a lot of out of town games and there are very few (if any) color guys in the NL who explain the intricacies of the game, both physically and mentally like Keith and Ron do.
  17. Look at NL win shares and runs created. Those numbers look good for David as well. David will need to continue to produce through September at his August pace, but at this point his name should be mentioned in nearly every conversation.
  18. Martinez 3 Wright 2 Alou 2 Green 1 Castillo 1 Mota 1
  19. This game wasn't the first time that the SNY booth talked about Kurt Vonnegut and his being Keith's neighbor...and I doubt that this was the first time that the Reds announcers were talking about HS football while the Reds were playing a game in September.
  20. Not a bad outing by Pedro at all...frankly, better than I expected. Good job, Petey...welcome back.
  21. It's unearned according to Gameday.
  22. E8 that scores a run. Don't see that very often with Beltran. Damn.
  23. I do.
  24. Yup. The Reds announcers are geniuses.
