  1. The Mets may have lost 2 of 3 in this series, but they showed me more heart in these 3 games than in the last 3 months combined.
  2. Cripes...this game is killing me.
  3. One more chance, Delgado...let's do this!
  4. If nothing else, Hoffman should be a little fatigued.

  6. Edgy DC wrote: Best Mets baseball going on here since the first week or two, I think. I agree...a couple of come from behinds show some fire I haven't seen all year.
  7. I have no confidence in Delgado...none...zilch. I have never seen such a good hitter look so lost at the plate for so long.
  8. This game is gross.
  9. Gwreck wrote: Nope, that gets listed as "on-field delay" and came up too. Sez there was 1 ball and 2 strikes on Glavine when it happened. Bard took a foul ball off his thigh.
  10. Good pick-up by Ronnie that Bard seems to be tipping pitches.
  11. Bud Black was arguing a call that should have gone his team's way...no injury.
  12. Per SNY.tv: Martinez walked one and struck out four as his fastball topped out at 89 mph, an improvement from his last outing six days ago.

  15. Endy 2 for 2, Pedro looking good. through 3.
  16. 1.099 OPS with 2 outs and RISP in 32 plate appearances in 2007. .304 average in 102 career postseason ABs. Could be worse...we could be relying on Julio.
  17. Looks like Conine takes the lead: http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/7139452
  18. 35 as Phillies rain-delayed loss goes final and they fall to 5 games back. San Diego also beats Houston pushing them to within 4 of Arizona and leaves the Mets with the biggest Division lead in baseball.
  19. It's been a while, but we catch 3 from the Nats 8/17-8/19. Mets now 17 games over .500 for the first time all year.
  20. OHernandez 4 Beltran 2 Anderson 1 Green 1 Wright 1 Castillo 1
  21. The Nats have made today's RF look like a little leaguer.
  22. Anderson with 2 RBI. 6-2 Mets. The yucky part of our lineup turns dividends.
