Heck, the QO was too much for my liking. Good luck to Thor, but that money can be better spent.

    Conducting an experiment to see how hard DeGrom could throw before his arm gave out, and expecting a different result than DeGrom's arm giving out. This is my biggest concern going forward. They went several starts basically saying "there's nothing to see here" while deGrom was bowing out of games early and eventually missed nearly half the season. Either they knew what was going on and weren't straight with the fan base OR they didn't know what was going on with the injury and were flying blind on how to handle the situation. Either way, it's a red flag.

    Carlos Gomez and Frankie Rodriguez were inducted into the Brewers “Wall of Honor” tonight (which is a wall along the concourse dedicated to Brewer greats). I guess tonight was Gomez officially announcing his retirement. Frankie was not here, but Gomez threw out the first pitch with Yovani Gallardo (also inducted). Gomez went along the third base dugout and waved to Mets fans, too, which I thought was classy. Brewer fans did not seem to take any notice when Villar came to bat, even though he played 3 years with a .748 OPS for Milwaukee.

    I got the tickets in the spring thinking these could be meaningful games for both teams...with the plan that I would go even if they weren't. I still enjoy going to the park and wearing orange and blue. Plus, these Milwaukee games have become somewhat of an annual pilgrimage for a group of my friends and I to attend a game together. We didn't get to go last season and since they're Brewers fans, I'd be alright with them seeing some history.

    Headed to Milwaukee on Friday and Saturday. It look like I'll have a pretty good chance of seeing the Brewers clinch the NL Central.

    Well, I'm also assuming Cano comes back next year after his suspension is listed. He's still under contract for a couple years, no? I suppose if the DH comes to the NL in 2022, there is a possibility that Baez could play 2B and Cano could be at DH, but I have to think if Baez wants to maximize his value that he could hit the market as a SS and make more.
