Anderson Hernandez wins the Mets Minor League Player of the Year Award. Kevin Mulvey wins pitcher of the year. Congratulations to those two, but that is a sad commentary on the state of the Mets farm system.

The league average is .248. The Mets, as a team, come in at .228, 25th out of 30 teams. The six guys I mention are considerably worse than that.
