Hahn Solo and Transmonk totally own this game.
-
Mota gave up all of those home runs. (At least it seems like it)

What we should do is bring back Jose Lima and his wife. Promise Alex a few romps with her and that should get the deal done. In fact, we should make this policy for all top tier free agents.

Wow, that was quick. Floor belongs to the wise-cracking smuggler with the tall hairy friend.

You know, when you are in college, and there are thousands of girls around, all from ages 18-22, most of them experiencing "freedom" for the first time, it is easy to get distracted from baseball. I have no idea what happened to the Mets from '94 to '97. I didn't realize until just now how much I missed college.

Scott Boras in Newsday: "You can't count Alex against payroll because he pays for himself. This is not a baseball decision, it's a business decision. The Mets are in a rare situation where they can add a player of Alex's performance and he doesn't cost them a thing. To me, this is an easy, easy call." Well jeez, if Alex is going to pick up his own salary, give him as much as he wants.

If they signed A-Rod, I would think the logical move would be to let him play shortstop and move Reyes to second. Jose has done it before and done it well.

I think Beltran is better than Cameron. I've never seen a guy consistently take perfect routes to the ball. Arm is good too.
-
Wasn't he too high-strung for the Marlins? This could be fun.
-
Which Mets? The April Mets or the September Mets?

I don't see how Baltimore and LA can be even.

How does a guy like Okajima even think to try that anyway. "I'm an average middle reliever. Maybe if I jerk my head violently to the right during my delivery to such a degree that I am throwing blindly, it will give me more life on my fastball, let me try that..."

It's 1985 World Series MVP Bret Saberhagen. Followed by the MVP's for the 1986 and 1987 World Series. It's still Val's turn.

He's a legendary guitarist and all, but I don't know that he's a good fit for this team. He was an incredible athlete, and a former-Intercontinental Champion, but other than the occasional brawl, I don't see what he would add to this team.

Orel Hershiser already did that.

Check out the byline on that article.

After Chip Caray, I promised not to trash Buck/McCarver.

Valadius is wise. Give us your group.

The answer is there for you to see. It's not like I'm asking you to name umpires or something.
-
Nope. (again, it might be true, but not what I was going for.)
-
Nope, and I don't know if that's true but that's not what I was going for.

I'm bored. Figure out the connection between this group of Mets then post your own. Who are we?
