  1. Maybe we create another thread, with spoilers, for folks who have seen the movie and want to discuss?
  2. I've managed to stay strong. Only a few more weeks to go. I am hoping I can be completely in the dark about plot etc. when I watch the movie. Just bought tickets for that Sunday.
  3. I seem to be having issues with the embed code for this video. Can someone smarter help me? http://geekologie.com/2014/05/wife-gets-husband-millennium-falcon-for.php

  5. I thought wicked stepmom was kinda hot.
  6. What's with the killing of the moms? My wife and I caught this on TV one night and thought "Oh maybe we should get this for the boy." Quickly nixed it after the violent death of Mama Dino.
  7. "Cookie Robots, not Boogie Robots. Why are you so old?"

There's some real good stuff there. Somewhere in the archives are my thoughts on the movie. Awful film. So bad, it detracted from the first movie.

  10. Big hit in my house.
  11. He's also too smart. I nominate Mungo from Heathcliffe.

Creepazoids who've been bringing it for decades and are probably more or less likeable in general get extra juice. Like, Gary Busey will never win for playing a creep because it's hard for anybody to think it's a stretch for him. And handicaps roles. Those get loads of votes and wins. Hot actress puts on makeup to uglify herself for a role = Oscar for Best Actress
  13. Given a chance, my vote would have been for Less' Nique.
  14. I concur with most of the thoughts in this thread that Rourke and Marisa Tomei were great but that the plot was cliche and boring. I thought the other wrestlers did a great job with their bit parts too. And why didn't anyone tell me that Marisa Tomei was topless in this movie? These are things that need to be brought out. I almost skipped this film.
  15. I'm going to need to see some pictures Sir.

I think showing "He's Just Not That Into You" on an airplane could be one of the few things in life that would make me try skydiving.
  17. Off the top of my head, though I'm sure I'm missing tons: Lord of the Rings Thank you for Smoking Little Miss Sunshine Hero Harold and Kumar go to White Castle Master and Commander The Constant Gardner Batman Begins Training Day Shaun of the Dead Cinderella Man A Knights Tale Remember the Titans Kill Bill 1
  18. I love Major League. Not so much Paulie, though I did sit through the whole thing.
  19. Bride losing? Inconceivable!
  20. Field of Dreams is making Coming to America hop on one foot and bark like a dog. A big dog.
  21. I really like your car Mrs. LaRusso.
  22. Terminator. And it's not even close.
  23. Trading Places is one of those movies you will stick on if you come across it channel surfing.
