Saturday night Rottino went 3-5 with 3 HR and 5 RBI for Buffalo. Just sayin'. Later

This is interesting, because the Lubuvitch sect of Orthodox Jews have their own web sites and the Rabbi of the local group sends out emails about upcoming events. I'm on his email list. Later

Somewhere there's a Yankee team picture ... Later

The only good news is that tomorrow's sports pages will be filled with the mass reportorial fellatio of Andy Pettite. Later

Still a Sand Gnat. But it looks like they may be giving him even more opportunity to break the LOOGY (or even reliever) role. Last night: 3Ip 0H 0R 0BB 6K Later

While listening to my Baxter Turner Overdrive CD, I'm voting that Valdeapin gets sent down. Later

Nice KTE. I had the same impression of Johnson. Later

Nicknames count? Bob "Hurricane" Hazle. IIRC, he was always called by that nickname. Drungo Hazewood. Had a cuppa' in the majors with the O's. Later

Fie on you, Edgy. I went away to find Josh Fogg's stats to post, came back, and you had posted that list. Well, here they are anyhow: http://espn.go.com/mlb/player/stats/_/id/4753/josh-fogg Memo to self: Learn to navigate the WEB faster. Edit: Do Bob and Chip Hale (pronounced hail) count? Later

Since we're talking All-Star Games, the AAA All-Star Game has been scheduled for July 11, 2012 at Coca-Cola Field in Buffalo. It is the first time that city has hosted the game in 25 years. Tickets are available at Bisons.com Later

I like your sarcasm. But if Yogi isn't elite there and needs to wear either an ID badge or some other type of pass, then someone has to redefine that word. Later

Yogi Berra visited Yankee Stadium III yesterday. There was a picture of him in today's NY Daily News. It shows him being driven around in a golf cart. And hanging around his neck is what looks to be an ID badge. Anyone associated with baseball in general and the team in particular should recognize Yogi Berra - from the casual fan to the stadium guards to the ushers to the vendors and especially to the person who told him to wear it. Infamia! That person who made YOGI BERRA wear an ID badge at YS III should be banned from baseball, then locked in a warm humid room for a week, listening to a continuous audio tape of Suzyn Waldmann. Later

Something tells me Rusty Torres won't be invited to Old Timer's Day. (warning: gross) That's sick. Please don't tell us that he gave them gift baskets and autographed pictures afterwards. Later

The attendance for all three games was greater than listed capacity. If the Mets keep playing the way the have recently, I hope some of that starts to happen at CitiField. Later

Pitching prospect Zach Wheeler should be ready to come off the minor league DL soon. He was on it for a torn fingernail. This is the second time this has happened in his minor league career. I'd get the kid a large supply of Gelatin and an hour-long session with Dr. R.A. Dickey on the care of finger nails. Later

It was alluded to earlier in the thread. But let me post these word for all to savor. You guys (I was at work, too) witnessed a Murphy-to-Turner-to-Davis double play. If Valdespin gets the starts at short until Tejada returns, that could be come a rarity. Later
