    I've used his name many times since he played for the Mets. I've used it to name a strange disease. Players approaching, or in, their prime lose their skills when they come to the Mets . I call it "George Altman Syndrome". The examples are too numerous to list. Later

    Not just ticket holders. According to ABC-TV it is Dolly Parton Day everywhere today because the date is 9-25. They must be trying to turn it into a "May the 4th Be With You" kind of thing. I guess they had nothing else to report since the networks pulled out of pool coverage at the White House. Later
