  1. IIRC redass referred to a player who was always angry or argumentative (calling Mr. Paul O'Neil). Chisolm is a showoff. Later
  2. Vientos against a lefty starter! That's what happens when you hit three homers in a AAA rehab game. Who went down? As reported in another post, Nick Moraboto was brought up when Roberts was claimed. Later
  3. I read that McLain, Scott and Thornton have exceeded or are about to exceed the most innings they have pitched in a year and that the Mets are monitoring their pitch counts very carefully. Later
  4. Thanks for commenting. Over 200 people have read this and you were the only one who commented. :) Later
  5. In yesterday's blowout of the Red Sox, MFY Jazz Chisolm stole 2 bases with the team up by 6 runs. When he did that, Red Sox radio announcer Will Flemming openly advocated for the team to hit Yankees catcher Austin Wells with a pitch and referred to Jazz Chisholm as a "bush-league player" after Chisholm stole two bases with the Yankees up six runs. A day after that contest, Flemming issued an apology, saying his comments crossed the line. OTOH, that WAS a bush league move. Thank you, Will, for pointing that out. Later
  6. Vientos his three home runs last night in a rehab assignment game. I'd rather see what he could do as a first base platoon when they recall him. Maybe he has recovered his magic. Later
  7. He was claimed off waivers by Baltimore earlier today. Later
  8. Luis Robert Jr. was claimed off of waivers by the Orioles earlier today.(SNY) Later
  9. If you know what you’re doing. It looks like they’re consistently meh. thanks later.
  10. I blame Brock. the Mets haven’t hit well all season (as FK has documented). But it seems they are particularly bad in the last three innings of games. Are there any numbers to show that? later
  11. He can still play for the Mets. The move was to see what other teams might have interest in him. later
  12. Those are what used to be called procedural waivers. They are used to see if any other team has interest. He can still play for the Mets. later
  13. I may be wrong, but I think I remember Larry as a pitcher who came off the (those days) disabled list, threw a shutout against the Mets, then went back on the DL. It may have been someone with a similar name. Later
  14. Your sarcasm is extremely warranted. Those guys haven't exactly been a dynamic duo as often as we'd hoped. Later
  15. According to SNY. The W-train has been sent back to the depot. Later
  16. Giving the Mets bats is like giving Mitch McConnell ice skates. later
  17. Lacata looks like he has bad breath. he just does. later
  18. In honor of Dolly Parton, it looks like; 5 to 9 is where we'll have to make our livin'. Pitch to those top four, and you may have some misgivins' Later
  19. Do you think they'd like to trade Alvarezes? now i K my E Later
  20. That "minimum age" will go right out the window for International players? Later
  21. I responded to the survey, but the thing that really is missing is the ability to delete a post under the edit function (if nobody has responded to it). Sometimes you realize it wasn't appropriate or a duplicate(cross posting) Later
  22. ABC ny saying he could be available for pinch hitting. later
  23. Poured like crazy here in Western Connecticut ( A tree down across a major highway -Rt7) but it stopped raining an hour ago. Maybe it will clear up there. Later
  24. Is that THE G Sánchez (R) C of one-time MFY prospect fame? Later
