3. Mcneil even looks lost taking a pitch. Lindor, I mean, I've never seen him going good I don't think.
4. wow. sandy's fate hangs not with what Bob Ojeda tweets but with what Cohen's fixer/investigator recommends. That said, Cohen is an Alderson guy all the way and I figure unless Sandy's hands are filthy and don;t just look really bad they'll find a solution that doesn't whack him. That's just my expectation
5. Yeah this depressing start the Mets have had is really all Washington's fault for touching their faces and going mask-less into supermarkets and making out in the shower. It was like the Mets walked into a movie and missed the first 10 minutes and will pay for it the rest of the year, very little time to establish a rhythm before a dumb-ass road trip to Denver and Chicago in mid-april. The commissioner and Fred Wilpon probably getting a laugh out of that. Anyway for these reasons I've put off firing Rojas immediately but the time has come to start making people pay and Washington deserves a heavy beating.

' I was consumed with these exact same thoughts throughout SR-F's entire outing tonight. I was amazed at how Foley was getting so many swinging strikes with a 93 MPH fastball and immediately thought of Sid Fernandez throughout Foley's outing - how Sid's unique delivery and wide body type hid the ball and Sid's release point for a few fractions of a second longer and so batters didn't pick up Sid's pitches as early as they'd pick up most other pitcher's pitches and so Sid's fastballs played like they were a few MPH's faster than they actually were. I was so excited to get rid of Matz I barely considered who got they got back but it seemed like it was something of a double "change of scenery" trade. SRF's outing last night is probably the most encouraging thing I've seen on the field at least all year.
7. I fell asleep after the wild pitch in the top of the tenth. Fuckin guys
8. I don't think the heavy stuff is coming down yet, your excellency
9. Davis is really causing as many if not more problems than he's solving.
10. It's Peterson vs. Davies. But really, it's the Mets against themselves.
11. Well this would be worth most of his 300 million
12. Guillorme should be starting over Lindor Kiddingnotkidding
13. Bad PA for Davis but here comes Guimmo and Zimmo
14. Chad ochoseis wrote: I was back in my laundry room. What did he do to get himself tossed? Accumulation of frustration after Walker squeezes, losing the SB challenge and so being unable to challenge Bryant missing first base, flailing sucky Met hitters, and shoddy execution in the field. Conforto getting punched out pushed it over the edge
15. If you had April 20 for Rojas ejection in the Mets first tiebreaker, you win. Might be his first heave ever
