I mean, you really got to consider dropping Lindor in the order. He is absolute garbage most nights. Every Mets hitter that inning got himself into a two-strike count almost immediately.

We owe Morton such a beating but are probably too inept to deliver one

Cano's not in my plans, and I'd be a little surprised were he in the Mets' but he (and the DH, etc) isn't really impacting my thinking about a trade NOW. I'm more along the lines of McNeil needing a "change of scenery" and the Mets needing a different kind of energy. I can't really explain it but this team for whatever reason isn't putting up enough points to survive a weakened pitching staff, and that fightfight stuff--they all played it off, but it was a real thing.

Save $$. Get thru the season with a Proven Veteran Infielder. And I guess, they like the prospect. I find myself beginning to think about the post McNeil Mets. I dunno, he looks pissed off all the time, not getting along with Lindor in the field, probably has some value. I don;t have a trade in mind or a hard strategy here, and not looking to offload anyone, just, I dunno.

Marlinz trade submariner bullpenner Adam Cimber & OF Corey Dickerson to the Jayz for our old friend Joe Panik and a MiLB pitcher. Dickerson was okay, sidearming relievers always good to have around. Joe Panik? The prospect maybe is good but not even mentioned. I'm thinking it's time the Mets made a trade. They've cycled through the AAAA guys and prospects, need a shake up of some kind

That wasn't a strong start for Jared. What is up with Conforto?
