  1. Collin "Fucking" Holderman is a beast.
  2. Neither Pete nor Cahna looked at all comfortable against this guy, and Esco couldn't catch up to him.
  3. Ahh, Farte shoulda had it Here comes Collin "Effing" Holderman
  4. Bye-bye so long, farewell Gotta reverse that call!
  5. Hello there ladies and gents. Are you ready to rock? Are you ready or not?
  6. Yeah, I'll make an attempt but it will catch up to me as it eventually did in the SF series
  7. I had the Buffalo Mac last night too. Tasted good, hard to mix the blue cheese on top in without it spilling, so you wind up eating blue cheese then the mac

Castillo is arb-eligible so more than half-a-year if we like him. We're trying to win a World Series here. At least I am. Were the Mets in their typical point in a season, where the questions as to whether they'll make the playoffs, wind up 10 games over, or 10 games under all seem to be equal bets, I don't advocate for a deal like this. "That's how it's done in the big leagues, Johnson. You see an opening-- you GO for it!" https://64.media.tumblr.com/508fa65dedb569e089fb08c8cb0b01e7/tumblr_oy9gpjClUo1we0p6lo1_640.jpg>

  10. I kinda object to the home Milwaukee series being included as part of this question about a 3-city West Coast trip. The topic should be "10 games" -- I think that's how we're answering it anyway, and probably how the team/media/fans look at it. At any rate, it's going to be interesting to see how we match up against these clubs however it turns out. Castillo pitching 2X in this stretch and relying on Williams in the game or 3 where we'll likely need him in long relief would be better. But. The Mets are playing as well as they have in years. Years! They've won almost every series, and those guys get paid too. So, if they play to character? They split in LA and take 2 of 3 from each of SD and LAA. 6-4 over 10/5-5 to be safe. We sweep the fucking Brewers so make that 9-4/8-5. WRITE IT DOWN
  11. This was exactly what we had to do, take a perfect homestand with us to this scary West Coast swing
  12. Been working with this game playing over my shoulder. That Nido hit looked like an inside the park HR till I realized Nido hit it.
  13. I'll add also it's obvious they're talking as the Riddle deal showed. Saw where Tyler Mahle was also rumored to be on the Reds block-- they'd obviously prefer to lose him than Castillo, but he's not aggressively awful in an emergency way and wouldn't cost much probably
  14. =ashie62 post_id=94300 time=1654092698 user_id=90] It's going to take more than Dom or JD to get Moustakas or Castillo.I would zone on on Castillo for now as that is where the need is
  15. Maybe. But every minute Moustakas remains a Red the club flushes more $$ down the toilet, so don't underestimate their motivation to do something. That's in part why I raised this weeks ago. The Mets in the meantime have a different near-term motivation-' the hardest stretch of their season is arriving at the moment when their starting pitching has never been more vulnerable. GET OFF YOUR ASS AND MAKE THIS HAPPEN NOW BILLY!!!!11
  16. What "evidence" aside from a deal would convince you? I'll bet a beer Moustakas gets traded within 30 days, and the magnitude of who goes with him will rest on how much of his salary the acquirer absorbs. The only thing working against my plan now is that Castillo is going good enough to almost command a considerable prospect alone. We could get that deal done too, but probably not today. My deal is beautiful and strategic and exciting because it could work NOW. Castillo and Williams are even aligned on start dates, he could get 2 starts in as a Met during this upcoming road trip.
  17. Unbearably hot when we arrived, then for about 5 minutes it was, "man this breeze feels great" before it went directly to freezing our asses off up there. The slow-moving game didn't help ... in addition to the challenges, and the 2 mound visits, etc, Corbin worked at a snails pace and the Mets kept getting hits. Ceetar showed up and we went looking for cocktails but I couldn't find them in the promenade. They honored Santanas no-hitter with a pregame ceremony including Santana, a grey-haired Josh Thole and Terry. Johan Jr. a righty, threw a wild first pitch to Josh Thole Jr., who made a good lunge to get it. Biggest Tuesday Night Mets win since a 12-2 victory over Toronto on May 15, 2018. That was better known as the Devin Mesoraco Game, as he was 2-2 with 3 walks, a Homer, a double, and 5 runs scored. Not 4 nothing but Trevor Williams has been a pretty useful guy, and it was good to see Drew Smith back. Williams warms up to Even Flow by Pearl Jam. Luis Castillo shut out the Red Sox for 6. LOL on the challenge on Gillormes HBP
  18. We've seen the Giants and they don't look like a 100-win team to me
  19. Reds need a successor to Votto at 1B, is all I'm saying (not all but hey)
  20. Wow, but the Steve Trachsel Cure seems to be just what he needs
