  6. SAY FREAKING HEY!
  7. I don't know what this means. Is this a gripe about the actual racing stripe unis or a gripe about some decades old throwback version of those racing stripe unis? If it's the latter, they can make better throwbacks these days. http://nov16.hugginsandscott.com/pl/12066_wes_westrum_uniform_phone.jpg> Example of what I meant from the mid-1980s OTD attendee unis Not a throwback, so much as the Met uniforms the OTD attendees wore in the mid 80s through the early 1990s versions of the events. So then what does that have to do with whatever unis today's old-timers will be wearing? BTW, that's a real ugly version of the racing stripes unis. The numbers look like they've been filled in with red crayons. Having them all in exact versions of today's white pinstripes, with an OTD patch, is much better than what they did in the mid 1980s with that seemingly shabbily done knock off version of what the Mets were wearing at Shea in the mid to late 1980s.

  9. I suppose it's better than the mid 1980s racing stripes that featured way too much block coloring on the numberings and nameplates that on some of the jerseys, it filled in some of them. 11. From the photos online already, looks like it's the normal 2022 whites with a OTD patch. I suppose it's better than the mid 1980s racing stripes that featured way too much block coloring on the numberings and nameplates that on some of the jerseys, it filled in some of them. OE I guess Nike couldn't be bothered manufacturing various era specific threads for a one-off appearance.

  15. LOL! Just answer wether or not the answer has to do with statistical leaderboards among their 41-49 uni numbers!
  16. Why are you being a troll about this?
  17. They all lead in a specific category for wearing their uniform numbers in the 40s? Unacceptable. Why don't you just say "Something, something, something, 40s?" Because my guess would mean if it was warm, statistical category by uni number, or cold, not a thing to do with their Met related uniform number.

  19. Especially in the edited version of what I just quoted.
  20. Is that your answer? Because the quiz specifically sez "and only these Mets, have in common". So for you to be correct, every other Met, from Hobie Landrith to Nate Fisher and every other Met in between, was once in your kitchen. You must be serving up some very tasty food. And I'll bet that Gary Carter stole all the credit for cooking that very tasty food. You are going all in to be anal retentive over me paraphrasing a Cheers (Cliff on Jeopardy episode) quip? You are going all in to be anal retentive by quoting a Cheers gag to try and solve this quiz? Did Gary Carter write that Cheers quip? I'm going all in to amuse readers with a Cheers quip as they, and I try to come up with an answer. It's quite an amusing one that I've often heard in response to “what do these people have in common” questions. No need to retort in the way you did.

  24. =kcmets post_id=104874 time=1661115007 user_id=53] I have nothing against Bobby Bonilla, I actually kinda like him. Paul O'Neil isn't deserving his Yankee number being retired.either way.
