  1. i set it for daily because that was the vote.
  2. Produce and you won't hear "boooo" its as simple as that. I agree with Bret, pay me a fraction of what they get paid TO PLAY A FRIGGIN GAME and you can boo me all you want, i'll probably even join in booing myself if i'm playing poorly.
  3. Martinez 1 Sanchez 1.5 Reyes 1 Wright 1.5 Beltran 2.5 Delgado 1.5 Floyd 1 pedro gets credit for the single not so much the pitching.
  4. at his age i see no reason for hernandez to ride the pine, if/when he's not the starter or at least platooning in the majors i'd send him down.
  5. this isnt a poll, the poll is something else, use "Schaffer POTG" in the title
  6. good win, i'm happy with this series but the sweep would have been better. This schedule is soft early so we need to really take advantage. the starting pitching is suspect so a cushion would be nice for that week where everyone implodes. 2-1!
  7. Father Edgy is preaching in the IGT...
  8. Rotblatt wrote: Mets fans full of piss and vinegar. They keep chanting "Yankees suck." Which is true, but not particularly relevant. They're not even playing tonight. I suppose with Beltran off their shit list and Matsui on the DL, they've got to boo SOMEONE. the loudest boos this year should probably be reserved for Julio who came in here already hated. Met fans remember what you did in April (everyone loved Derek Bell all year because of a hot april) and September/October.
  9. Edgy DC wrote: I'd get Endy off the bench to pinch-run for Lo Duca. That way he and Castro don't miss the series. i'd bring endy in for floyd since floyd made the out anyway (put bradford in for floyd's spot and endy chavez in pitcher spot)
  10. good for them. opposing players should not be allowed to catch anything in the stands (i'm not saying you should hit them or anything, just dont get out of their way.)
  11. "yankees suck" chant quickly drowned out, its fine when they are playing here but why the fuck is that being chanted at a mets-nats game? Floyd batting with 1st and 2nd 2-out
  12. GYC wrote: Can we give Schaefer points to players who didn't play, i.e. Franco for leadership? i'm giving him .5 or so, if they dont want to count it they can take it out.
  13. Gwreck wrote: ="Nymr83"]The Mets hit 4 batters... The Natonals hit one.... the Nationals pitcher gets the boot... the rules aren't fair sometimes. Joe Morgan makes a good point (for once) noting that Frank Robinson probably was saved the ejection because the umpires perhaps had not been handling things quite right (ie. no warning after Pedro hits Guillen). The radio anouncers made a better point- Robinson was already automatically ejected because of the warning issued earlier to both benches.
  14. Yes, he probably has a shot at Biggio's record if he plays long enough.
  15. Edgy DC wrote: Watson (.083) is giving Andy Hernandy a run for struggling rookie of the week. Watson doesn't already have a play that will be on the year-end highlights show. Also, Hernandez isn't blocking far better players (Ryan Church)

  17. his web gems are buying him time though.
  18. Reyes has a gapper it's a stand up triple.
  19. Bret Sabermetric wrote: ="Elster88"][ You have stated several times that anyone who doesn't agree with your feelings is delusional. . Back this up. Or shut up. take it to red light, or at least out of an active IGT.
  20. i see no reason not to throw Oliver an inning here
  21. Floyd doubles! Wright scores! 9-5 Mets lets give Heilman and Wagner a rest.
  22. they were just chanting his name and he came out, radio says Julio Franco made his first contribution as "veteran presense" by forcing Beltran to the top step.
  23. Sanchez looking good. Eischen is in (aren't we glad Ayala won't be pitching this year, thats gotta be worth a win to every other team in the NL East)
