  2. And the thousand fans in the park sound like 20 times that as they boo Oliver off the mound.
  3. Bases-loaded walk, and Ollie is done.
  4. Ollie will put a quick end to this game.
  5. I'm kinda torn on this one. I'd like to see the Rangers advance, but since the real important task is stopping the Yankees, I want the Rays to survive. So I'm voting Tampa.
  6. Who would you like to see win?
  7. This one is just a formality.
  8. It is intriguing.
  9. I'd like to see this get resolved today; I want the Phillies eliminated as soon as possible, so I want to their potential opponent, whoever it is, to be well-rested.

  15. The Mets had been 3 and 12 in walkoff games this year, but they've now won five in a row bringing their record to a much less pathetic 8 and 12.

  17. I was last at Citizens Bank Park in mid-2007, and it was vile. I went "undercover" in a Brooklyn Dodgers cap, but the people in Mets caps were getting a hard time. I can't see myself going back there.

He's writing a letter to PBS, even. Is this the kind of thing that a sane adult gets "livid" over? Maybe peeved. Or miffed. Or irked. Or even annoyed. But livid??
  19. Voting for both the first game and the second game of the Brewers' Wednesday doubleheader sweep of the Mets will close over the weekend. Five voters so far for each game. If you still have votes to cast, please try to get them submitted today.

  22. I believe that this is only the second IGT I've kicked off this year. But... will the game be played?
  23. Lotsa good choices, but my heart is with Shadow of a Doubt. Perhaps I identify with it because I too am a creepy uncle.
