  1. It seems to me that when the shift is on, the hitter is likely to be pitched inside. If he gets an outside pitch, he should definitely jump on it and send it the other way.
  2. Thank you! I'm noticing that participation in May is quite a bit less than it was in April. I get the sense that people may think that once they miss a game that there's no point in continuing. That's really not true! You can vote on recent games even if you've missed a game, or a dozen games, that have already closed.

  5. Cespedes only appeared in one game as a bench player in April, and only saw one pitch, but he made the most of it, crushing a game-tying three-run homer. It yielded him 3.21 points, which allowed him to easily be the month's leading bench player, finishing ahead of Juan Lagares, who had 0.40 points in games in which he wasn't in the starting lineup. Alejandro De Aza earned 0.35 bench points, Wilmer Flores had 0.21, and Eric Campbell had 0.09. Jeurys Familia, with his ninth Reliever of the Month award, has left Brian Stokes (remember him?) in the dust.

If you are saying that no players are injury prone we disagree. We, your highness? By "we" he clearly meant "you and I".

  11. We all are.
  12. Is that a good "woah" or a bad "woah"?
