    I'm going to have my Amazon Echo play "Lazy Mary" during the 7th inning stretch. And while I'm driving home from work today, I'll play Meet the Mets on my phone, probably more than once, and I'll sing along joyously.

    Kelly Johnson apparently took himself out of the running for getting the start at first base. Says he's not comfortable enough there and that Loney would do a better job.

    I agree. The fate of Cespedes will be the first big story of the offseason. My guess (and hope) is that they negotiate an extension before he hits free agency.
