I'm most curious to see what happens with Vogelbach. I, for one, would let him go. I've seen rumors that Drew Smith might be traded before the deadline hits.

I'll admit it... I've never heard of this guy. His name is completely unfamiliar to me. But Joel Sherman (one of Ceetar's favorites, as I recall) says that both the Mets and Yankees are interested in him. The Cubs (or at least, their fans) seem to think that they'll have Pete Alonso on their team by Opening Day. I keep seeing "buzz" about how the Cubs would center a trade package around Christopher Morel. I, for one, am not intrigued by this.

It really doesn't sound like it should be, does it? An often-injured guy making $25 million and one year away from free agency. He'd probably come pretty cheap if the Mets are willing to take on his full salary, and history shows that that's pretty likely.

The A's told MLB they plan to play in a revolving series of sites until they move, one MLB owner told USA TODAY Sports on the condition of anonymity because MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred has yet to publicly address the plans. They will play games in Summerlin, Nevada, home of the A's Triple-A team, Oracle Park in San Francisco, where the San Francisco Giants play, and perhaps also the Coliseum. So they'll be in Oakland full time in 2024, and then potentially be a vagabond franchise for three years before they move into their permanent home in 2028. I know it won't happen, but I'd love to see them spend one full year in Philadelphia.
