Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 It's shots like that that keeps one from giving up on d'ArnaudOff the bat that looked like a line drive which, at best, you were hoping would split the OFsMets are only hitting tonight with ticket holders in the booth w/GKR

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 So, is tonight the night that you give a save chance to Jeurys again, assuming one is available?Or is it more important to get Ramos back on the horse?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 Out at second on a drive off the wall? Bleh.
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 When I saw the Nats' lineup, the first thing that came to mind was "Don't let Adam Lind* beat you". I was going to post it but was late for an appointment. That dinger was on me. I hope this isn't too late for the Mets to read.Later* He's an ex- Blue Jay and I know my pals in Canada will rub it in.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 My girlfriend is from Canada.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 Take that, Kelley. Rosario's tough AB wore him out
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 It's not a good look for the Nats that their trainer seems to have a belly and man-boobs.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 I can't remember the last time I even saw a pitch-out.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 Didn't Peter Gabriel write a song about this guy? -- Oh Difo, Difo, Difo, Dee-Foe
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 Nice catch Nori.

Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 Familia on for the save, just like the old days.

A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 All credit for this victory goes to Greg's legendary page 1 post and Edgy Michael Hall's Canadian "girlfriend".
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 My girlfriend couldn't get Cabrera's broken-down ass into second base.I've realized that I need September wins more than I thought, because nothing else is going on. There isn't a minor league team to turn to when the Mets are getting whupped. Desmond Lindsay isn't turning it around somewhere. There aren't front office machinations or draft-day prep or even off-season rumors. There's just the Mets, playing out the string. And in the case of this year, mostly terribly.
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 Meaningless September games will have all the meaning when it's December and it's cold and it's dark and all the grass is brown and the players are gone and the stadiums are empty and we only have spring to look forward to. C'mon skinny love.
