Conforto is being scratched due to a thumb issue.

And they put Matt Reynolds in right field?

What happened to Zimmo?

I hope they score at least a few.

Kinda like Rodan, the Mets and the Hindenberg all in one.

There you go. Rosario.

He and Smith are totally getting with the some-homers-but-no-other-offensive-value act the Mets have going on, guys!

Are there any other alternatives to Mayday Millone? This season is completely in the handbasket.

Relax! Chris Flexen's turn is coming.

Nite all.

They're gonna score some runs, right?

Corbin puts down a fine bunt. Robles fields it half-assed, and throws it half-assed, but that's fine, because Corbin is running half-assed.

I know, intellectually, I've seen this brand of consistently mailed-in-effort baseball before, but it feels like nothing I've ever seen.

Rosario is not mailing it in. He's been playing like he wants to set an example for the veterans.
I'm impressed.

Made a really costly error again last night on a play that Cabrera could have made.

The Tuesday Night Mets are quietly turning out to be an inferior version of the Sunday Afternoon Mets. Last night was the third Tuesday this season they simply weren't competitive or watchable.

Another day, another meaningless 9th inning rally.

Looking into this a little further: the Mets have now lost 8 of their last 9 scoring a total of 25 runs in those 8 losses.
13 of those 25 runs came in five different games in the 8th, 9th, or 10th innings.
- they scored 2 in the 9th only to lose by 1
- 4 runs in the 9th to lose by 1
- 3 runs in the 8th to lose by 2
- 1 in the 10th to lose by 1
- and last night 3 in the 9th to lose by 3
