Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 Wtf, I go eat a cheeseburger and we're down a touchdown?
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 Some pitchers may be more comfortable than others in a six man rotation. When he pitched when he was brought up, Wheeler was on his regular rotation rest. Or, he just had a stinker in him. It'll be interesting to hear what he says in the post game interview.Later
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 Take pitches, guys. Make him throw a strike.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 Know what I like about the Cubs? The insignia on their helmet isn't just a paper decal. It's actually a sewn insignia adhered to the helmet.Take that back. I love that about the Cubs.Know what I hate? That two-run homer they just hit.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 And now the Nats just went back in front on Ryan Zimmerman's 2nd HR of the day and his 18th & 19th of the season! The last full season when he hit as many as 19 was 2013. He's also leading the league in BA - .365 before the night started.Joe Ross started for the Nats but didn't last the 6th. He only has two losses and won't lose tonight either now that his team went back in front despite a ERA of over 6.00, mainly because the Nats are averaging 12 Runs per game on the days he starts!6-5 bottom 6. Dickey just pulled with two on and no outs so this could get uglier still before the inning in out.
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 Shit!It looks like I picked the right evening to have girlfriends over to watch La La Land and discuss it book club style....
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 Addison Russell's eyes are too far apart. He looks like something Mulder and Scully were trying to catch.

Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 Bruce made a nice catch to rob some dickhead of a homer. GKR are digging through old baseball cards and reminiscing. I'm 100% fine with this. These guys are the best.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 I could do without the baseball card thing; would make a better off-seasonfireside chat kinda show plus I'm not in the mood when getting shellacked.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 One of the worst game experiences I've ever had. Really don't like Wheeler at all. I think he's cut from the same cloth as Pelfrey and Trachsel. I feel like he should refund my tickets. What a shit night.

The leadoff HR to Jody Gerut, and only went downhill from there. That game was much better than last night.
