No lineups yet for what promises to be ... well, it promises to be whatever ESPN Sunday night games are, which is ... something ... like baseball.

No lineups are post yet, but gametime temps are expected to be around 70 degrees. Make that 58 by the time the national anthem is done, and 35 fby the fifth inning. Cowls will be mandatory.

Edinson Volquez goes for Miami, who apparently acquired Edinson Volquez this offseason. He threw five shutout innings on opening day against Washington. Mets matched up against him twice in the 2015 World Series, getting to him for three runs (including a Granderson homer) in five innings in Game One, and two runs (including a Granderson homer) in six innings in Game Five.

They lost both games, but I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that Curtis Granderson will be in tonight's lineup.

Davey Johnson would be scandalized by Terry not banking on Grandy's past success against Volquez.

To be fair, Grandy's oh-fer against him in, like, 14 PA in the reg'lar season. So it's mitigated success.

Also... With school on spring break and freebie tickets in hand, Team LWFS-- a quorum of us, anyway-- will be there for Thorsnight.

I tried to shut off the ESPN baseball talk show and listen to Howie and Josh via mlb radio but that's ahead of the TV.

Great 1st inning. Now let's see the offense do some shit

Howie (from MLBtv radio) and the ESPN TV broadcast are not matching up. Close, but no banana. Rose is about 3 pitches ahead.
That could correct itself later. But for now, I'm stuck with ESPN, which I guess is better than nothing.

Nice 1st for Noah. 2 Ks and a ground out.

0-0 Mets.

I like how the ESPN graphic for the Marlins includes the home run sculpture.

I had no idea that Volquez has had like three different names.

Who is the idiot in the booth with the man bun?

I love Asdrubal. Perfect bunt. He had to go get that pitch with his bat, harder than it looks while bunting.

Shift this!

Dallas Braden, trying to be Steve Lyons crazy, and just being annoying. "Oh yeah, the Mets are 100% going to win this game!"- in the second inning. Douche.

The names may change, but the suck remains.

This must be the decade that it's fashionable to make yourself look as ugly as possible.

They're talking no-hitter after two innings....

They suck.
