Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 I was kinda hoping that today would be the day we'd launch the career of José Reyes, centerfielder.
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 Harvey K's Fowler looking to start. PIX11 gun had him at 87/88, but they were quick to say that was incorrect. Stadium gun had the strike 3 pitch at 92. #Pray4Harv
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 K's Diaz and gets Yadier F. to ground out to third. Gotta say, Harvey looks a little lighter. Didn't he wear a sort of Roger Clemens bloaty-ness for a while?
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 Harvey looks good. Cespedes looks great. Bruce looks viable. Can't wait until Seawolf's countdown reaches Terry McDaniel territory.
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 Yoenis is very mean to baseballs.Hovvey scuffling a little in the 2nd. Keith comments on Matt's 'trim waistline'.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 Harvey gets hit hard in the second. Thank goodness it's only the first week of March.
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 HARVEY SUCKS BOO BOOO BOOOOOOOO#58 Jose Martinez hits a lazy fastball for a long 3-run homer.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 Hmm. Not a good second inning. What is that big bandage on Harvey's neck?

Like covering stitches or something.Harv doesn't quite make it out of the 2nd. Good he got back on the hill anyway.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 Harv was probably out too late snorting coke off a model's ass in his Escalade last night.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 Not a lot to praise on the pitching side, but how about Céspedes and Tajeiron combining to go 6-6 out of the cleanup spot?Luis Guillorme has one homer in 1,484 plate appearances as a minorleaguer, but hits one off of eight-year big-league vet Brett Cecil. Spring Training is weird.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 We went out with friends today and got to the restaurant/bar for dinner in the 8th inning. I didn't realize one of the TVs had the game on, but it was behind me; I asked my friend what the score was and he said "14-10." I said "No, not the basketball game. I can see that one."Welp.
