Starting to get some good wrong guesses, kids. Nice. And Batmags jumps into second!

From yesterday:
3. 1985-89: 3-16 in 185 games as a Met, even getting some MVP support, before being traded and winning a ring. RANDALL K

Today:
1. 1962: 1-5, 6.22 in 36 games and 1-15 at the plate in this Quebecois' only MLB season. RAY DAVIAULT
2. 1971-73: Largely unimpressive as a Met (3-15 at the plate), then won the 1974 ERA title with Atlanta. BUZZMAN CAPRA
8. 2006: Big piece of the 2006 team - including a particularly solid appearance in the NLCS - despite only getting 2 hits in 15 AB. DARREN OLIVER
9. 2016: 1-15 in eight games (seven starts). GSELLMAN

1. 1962-64: 4-14. Acquired in only the second trade in team history, along with Charley Neal.
2. 1966: His only MLB year. 3-3, 3.52 in 37 games, 3-14 at the plate. 51 walks and 25 K's in 69 innings probably didn't help.
3. 1981-84: 4-14 at the plate. Got hurt in his first major league game.
4. 2004: 3-14 as a Met, his only MLB plate appearances; spent four years with the white Sox and a year each in Detroit and Cleveland.

1966: I don't know, but how does a guy walk that many and strike out that few and put up an ERA of only 3.52?

That's some magic that even Álex Torres could envy.

I know, right? And he never made it back.

Nope. Graham was a third baseman. Our mystery #2 was a tall, skinny fella who shared a rookie card -- and a one-year career -- with Billy Murphy.

That's weird, I think of him as a pitcher, he became a famous college coach at Rice: Developed/destroyed Phil Humber!

4 Matt Ginter, for whom I held moderate hopes after a vaguely promising Met debut

HERE WE GO!

1. 1967: Sixteen days as a Met in April as a Rule V pick, six games, 12 AB, no hits, 5 Ks. Apparently selling insurance in Corpus Christi these days.
2. 1969: Swingman who went 0-for-12 with 9 Ks, but pitched 63.2 innings with a 2.40 ERA.
3. 1997: 3-12 in a September callup. Taken by the Rays in the expansion draft, but only made it back to the bigs for 13 games with Colorado in 2000.
4. 2006: 4-12 with three doubles; appeared in 314 less MLB games than his dad.
5. 2007: Serviceable starter for the Padres from 2001-05; started six miserable games as a Met and went 3 for 12.
6. 2008: Outfielder who came up with the Marlins, then ended his short career in June and July going 2-12 in eight games as a Met.
7. 2011-12: Pitched for 11 teams; 0-12 as a Met.
