Ynoa vs Jeremy Hellickson

And if it seems like we've faced Hellickson a number of times already this year, it's because we have.
4 starts overall: 20 innings, 15 Runs on 27 hits, although those games were split 2-2 despite all the runs allowed.
Most recently Cabrera's 2R and Cesedes's 3R HRs chased him after just 4 innings in late August during an eventual 12-1 NYM win.

Be nice if they got their hitting shoes on prior to 11 PM this time.

Hellickson pitched a 3 hit shutout against Miami his last time out. Before that, 6 and a third scoreless against Pittsburgh. We were likely rooting for him to pitch well during both games.

Probably will not be a cakewalk tonight, especially with our weakest starter going. Hell, I guess we should not expect anything to be a cakewalk anymore.

I would also like to express my fondness for that particular beer ...

If Duda gets straight, he still has enough time to hit his way up to that five hole.

Flip flop him and Johnson, this could be a meaningful lineup against righties in the post-season, still leaving Loney and Bruce as left-handed benchies.

I salute you Terry. Make this work, somehow.

Really?
With D'Arnaud in it?
Every time he comes to bat I have a Chris Cannizzaro flashback.

Not the entire lineup.
But until he snaps out of his funk (and I hope he does), I have more confidence in Rivera.

This Cannizzaro guy is impressive.

Well played.
Maybe I should keep the reverse mojo working and say something similar about Jay Bruce.

Matt Stairs, the Phillie ex-jock head, has a voice that sounds exactly like me when I try to talk after throwing up in my own mouth.

So with 6 walk-off HRs in each of '62 & '63, that means that over 13% of their total wins in those seasons (91) came via game-winning HRs. Nearly one win of every eight.
That's stunning!
