If he's gotta see the doctor in NY, put him on the plane NOW

What, we need him available to pinch-hit?-- we might. Hmmmm, Matz or Campbell?3. If he's gotta see the doctor in NY, put him on the plane NOW-- Sounds like they made the decision to sit him on Saturday no matter how things feel. The Post is already quoting the team as saying he feels "100% better" today as opposed to on Tuesday. If nothing else this just fits into the season long plan of limiting his starts/innings.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Frigging Matz. I knew as soon as I expressed CAHNfidence in him he'd screw me over. Also Wright has a sore shoulder from making all those shifty sidearm throws, and he's sitting too.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Worrisome. I almost wish they just said they were gonna skip his start as a matter of routine. I always prefer the truth but when it's about a pitcher's arm hearing news like that is always so scary.

Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Rubin had a tweet last night that it was less the elbow and more in the forearm.Well that's great Adam. That doesn't sound like a Tommy John issue at all!Fucking ligaments.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 Results are in. No damage.
