Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 Harper double and some bleeders get the Nats another run, though comes off the bag at third for a free out. thanks!
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 Strasboig looking sharp tonite.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 Shit. If I have stuff to do I wait til the Nats are up to do it. So I missed that whole half.It says a Bryce double started it all. Figures. LETS GO METS!!!2-1 D.C.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 Vintage Strasburg so far. Forgot how good he can be.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 Mets can't win this unless they spot the Nats six more runs.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 It becomes a new game when we get into the bullpens.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 Strasburg is pitching an absolute gem thus far. His curve is devastating, particularly in combination with his fastball. When a pitcher can spot an arsenal like that, he is almost unhittable. Someone (for the Mets) has to catch up to a fastball early in the count. Either that or we have to hope that Williams makes some totally idiotic move, which we know he is capable of doing, and pulls Strasburg for some bizarre reason.Good inning and good outing by deGrom. It's up to the offense to step up and pull this one out.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 Kelly hitting for Wilmer.
