- Yanx are up 15-5 in Texas IN THE TOP OF THE 3rd
Chris Capuano couldn't get through the bottom of the 1st for the Yanx [5 runs, 2/3 inning] but was off the hook by the top of the 2nd and the Yanx have put up 15 unanswered. angers are already on their 3rd pitcher, Yanx on their 2nd and the game is approaching 2 hours old still in the top of the 3rd.

I kinda forgive Tejada on that one. It may have really put the Mets in a spot (though it might have merely turned a first-and-second situation into a first-and-third one), but there's something about athletes, when you're backing an unworldly effort like Syndergaard's, you start thinking you can do great things too. And sometimes you can!
