Niese's performance is on Terry. There is no way he should have let Niese pitch while his wife was due to give birth at any moment.

It's really hard for me to blame Niese in any way for letting this one get away. Baseball players are not emotionless cyborgs. Part of a manager's job is weighing a player's focus due to outside influences when filling out the lineup card and deciding on pitching matchups.
