July 4th... with fireworks

Posted

He goes today against Lago de Sal. I'd guess it's his last go, but there's a day off on the 22nd and another on the 29th, so there's no immediate need for a sixth starter. I'm going with Sunday, July 5th in LA.

Niese did fine tonight.

Matz, however, did superfine this afternoon in Utah. Fine-plus-plus.

I smell a trade. Laggy is sitting. Matz is coming. So I close my eyes and see Laggy and Niese going to the Cubs for somebody.

Oops, Laggy can't be traded. I just heard a commercial saying he's going to be at the Steiner store in Roosevelt field next week.

Puma says he has a reliable source telling him there's nothing hap'nin' on the trade front right now.

probably the least reliable beat guy.

I saw a tweet that Nieses might be expecting. (something in the water?)

also Lagares says the armpit thing is fine, and him hitting some again probably indicates that.
