Five-hour energy commercial with Beltran looking like an alien.

I got the two Colossal Man movies the other night after this came up. Haven't watched em yet (of course I saw these years ago on TV). Beltran really looks like him in this one:

OE: In one of them he's the Colossal Beast.

Shit. I do NOT want this to be a nail biter. And we can't lose. We just can't.

We can't.

Just caught up via tape delay (although missed the first four innings).

First two NYM/SFG games = 4:30 total
Today's Yanx/Sawx game = 3:56

This was our first game with The 7 Line Army. A fun game and a fun group with whom to see the game!

I'd like to thank the Phillies for doing their part and beating up on Washington, 0-11 as we speak.

Bleh.

From my mini-KTE within yesterday's IGT: Lately [the Giants have been using] Morse in LF (which does horrible things to your defense)

As the saying goes; I believe I had that one.

It was a party in the outfield while the team partied on the field.

i was at this one with my family. I feared it'd be rained out, but the weather was perfect. We sat behind 1st base, up in the Mezz (sorry, the Caesar section, whateverthefuck that is), which are fine seats, and more reasonably priced than the Field/Loge areas.

The dueling no-hitters got us to to the 7th Inning Stretch in 1.5 hours; i thought the game would get completed in under 2hrs, which would've made us, and Frayed Knot, very happy. But the bats finally came alive, and both teams scored a bit, but the bullpens held up and we got the W in about 2.5 hours. The game was followed by some nice fireworks, an easy exit of the lot and onto the highway, with no traffic home. A lovely evening.

and, by the way, deGrom is a beast.
