I could go for a 1986 style Tim Corcoran ('86er Toppless as a Met).

These other 1986 Mets are on Topps cards as a Met, but not in the 1986 set (Barry Lyons, Ed Hearn, Stan Jefferson, Rick Anderson, John Gibbons & John Mitchell).

The Topps '86 Mets team set is one I still have in a plastic box in the basement somewhere.

If anyone's interested in this minutiae, as Mets, Stan Jefferson and John Gibbons are Toppless, but not cardless. Corcoran, OTOH, is cardless as a Met.

The fringiest '86 Mets pitcher to appear in the '86 Topps set was Ed Lynch, who pitched 1.2 innings for the '86 Mets, before succumbing to an injury and then, a trade to the Cubs. The fringiest '86 Mets non-pitcher to appear in the '86 Topps set was Danny Heep (227 PA's - not exactly fringy).





The other Topps MIA's among the '86 Mets --in addition to already noted Tim Corcoran, Barry Lyons, Ed Hearn, Stan Jefferson, Rick Anderson, John Gibbons & John Mitchell -- are Kevin Elster, Dave Magadan and Randy Myers, who all made their MLB debuts in '86, and surprisingly, late-season acquisition Lee Mazzilli, who, you'da figured, still had enough name in the game to merit inclusion in the Traded set

I'm surprised Elster didn't rate getting an inclusion in the 1987 Traded Set at least and debuts in the 1988 base set, though he is in the 1987 Fleer set.
