Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 It's Niese vs. Hamels and the astonishing return of Marlon Byrd...Let's get to know Philly:[youtube:29vgeqzl]NP4UZ3vmQ54[/youtube:29vgeqzl]
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 It's a good time for Satin to get his season started, I thinks.
Vic Sage Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Agreed. Otherwise, how much patience does Sandy show with a guy whose arguably a AAAA player, when Lutz, Campbell and Seratelli are doing the job as RHed bats off the bench who can play the corners, and they may be itching to get Flores up here as soon as his bat gets hot? It never seemed to me that Satin had too much support within the org, but he just got hot last year and earned at least first shot of repeating it in this role. I hope he does start hitting, because i've always liked his game and hoped he'd get a shot. now he has to do something with it, and soon.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Well, Flores jammed a finger the other day and is getting looked at today but yup otherwise. Soupy Campbell is quite a bit more defensively versatile and had a good spring. Of course it's a job for part-time irregulars.

Guest themetfairy Guests Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Meteorologist Sheena Parveen speaks of periods of rain this evening with the heavier rain late. She's not optimistic about tomorrow's game being able to be played.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Game in Baltimore (just 100 miles south) has already been canceled, as is the one in Minnesota for the second time in three days (not that that one affects us as much).Games tonight in the Bronx & Boston probably in danger as well.
